Job description

We are seeking a General Science Teacher for a long-term temporary ongoing position, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

 

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons following provided lesson plans

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support students in achieving their academic targets

  • Assess student progress through marking and feedback

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Liaise with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective learning

Ideal General Science Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Science across Key Stages

  • Strong classroom management and adaptability as a General Science Teacher.
