Job description

Step Teachers are looking for enthusiastic and committed German Teachers to join our pool of supply staff working across schools in and around the Enfield area.

Looking for Teachers that are available as soon as possible and are looking for flexible work, whether that’s regular placements or occasional cover. Some schools may offer the chance to go permanent. The range of pay is dependent on experience.

Duties for German Teachers:

  • Deliver engaging and effective German lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Ensure lessons are well-structured, inclusive, and aligned with curriculum objectives.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.

  • Support students in developing their language skills and cultural awareness.

  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and learner needs.

Ideal German Teachers:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or relevant teaching experience in German.

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching languages.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a German Teacher.

  • Flexibility and reliability to take on short-term or longer-term supply assignments.
