Job description

If you are looking for a clear path into the teaching profession but do not have the classroom experience we can help!  Unlike other agencies, we will be able to work with you to gain relevant experience and provide you with a paid route to gaining a teaching qualification.

Our offices across the South have experienced an increased demand for Teaching Assistants.  We are urgently seeking recent graduates or those about to graduate to work in Primary or Secondary Schools/Academies as teaching assistants.  You will play a key role in supporting young children, building their attainment levels after the pandemic.   The role of a Teaching Assistant is both challenging and rewarding where you will be an integral part of a young person’s education.

We work with Academies and Schools that require Teaching Assistants to support the learning of young people.  You may be working 1-1 with a student with specific needs or working with an entire class supporting the class teacher.   You will have a passion for supporting young people and be able to demonstrate how you can add value in a classroom setting, using your life experience gained thus far.

What we offer
  • A clear path to get into paid teacher training, through our sister company Grad2Teach
  • Online courses to help you gain the experience you want in a classroom
  • A dedicated consultant who will work to place you into local schools
  • PAYE pay with extra perks
What you will require
  • Have a degree with a 2:2 or above
  • Have a GCSE in English, Maths and Science at Grade C or above or prepared to study towards this grade
  • Be passionate about education/teaching
  • For those who are more confident or do have some experience with young people, there may also be scope to lead classes.
Apply with us today, to start your journey towards a rewarding career.
