Job description

Step Teachers currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Art role, based at an established school in Lambeth, upholding “Good” status by Ofsted. This is a full-time role, with the candidate being employed on a temporary basis at the school. The position is set to commence in September 2020.

 

As a Head of Art, you must comply with the attributes below:

 

  • QTS or PGCE qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of working with KS3 to KS5 in a mainstream setting
  • Confident in their ability to engage, inspire and make learning enjoyable
  • Be responsible for leading Art and securing outstanding progress and outcomes for students
  • Strong leadership qualities and subject knowledge
