HLTA – Full-time PPA cover, 5 days per week, starting as soon as possible until the summer with potential to go temp to perm

Duties as HLTA:

Deliver PPA cover across a range of classes in line with planned learning
Lead whole-class teaching with confidence
Support pupils in accessing learning and maintaining engagement
Assist with planning and resourcing when necessary
Lead small group interventions to support progression
Implement behaviour management strategies effectively
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to wider school life and support colleagues as needed

Ideal HLTA:

HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level
Strong background in sports and confidence delivering PE lessons
Ability to lead whole-class teaching independently
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
Adaptable across year groups and subject areas
Professional, reliable, and supportive of whole-school aims
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
