Job description

Step Teachers are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for an excellent role to work with young adults with additional needs. The role will begin in January 2024, Tuesdays and Fridays within the Truro area.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning activities within a dynamic educational setting. Your responsibilities will include leading small groups, providing one-to-one support, and collaborating with teaching staff to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Key Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent

  • Proven experience in a similar role

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
