Step Teachers has been asked to recruit a History teacher for one of our favourite schools in the South London area. The role of a History teacher will be a temporary contract position through Step Teachers which will commence immediately and run from March. The position of History teacher would be suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) in addition to those with more experience.

• As a History teacher you will establish good relationships, encourage good working practices and support and lead teachers in the phase group.
• You should have an ability to identify, focus on and work towards achieving key objectives as a History teacher.
• You should have a teaching qualification and a History based degree.
• It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching History.
