Step Teachers have been asked by a lovely Secondary School in the Enfield area to recruit a History Teacher. The role is a full-time position and it is a January 2019 start.

As the ideal History Teacher:

• You should have a Degree in Humanities + History PGCE
• Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice.
• It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching History to A Level
• You will need confidence and a positive ‘Can-do’ attitude & philosophy

We have been working with this school on a regular basis for the past few years and our teachers have always told us it is a lovely place to work. The pupils are well behaved and generally are well supported in their studies at home and this is demonstrated in their progression through the school. Ofsted most recently graded them ‘Good with Outstanding Features’, with teaching and learning being graded ‘Outstanding’.
