Step Teachers are looking for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 6 class on a temporary long-term basis in Enfield. This role is due to commence in January 2024 until the end of the academic year. 

Role:

• Able to support in planning and delivering lessons effectively when needed
• Experience working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
• Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
• Ability to support students, on a whole class, small group and one-to-one basis, and encourage their progression
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Recent experience working in a primary school or with school-aged children
• HLTA qualification/Educational based degree is a must
• SEND experience is desirable
