An exceptional primary school in North London has asked us to find a HTLA for KS2 for a temporary position commencing in March. The position of HTLA would be preferable for those with more experience but the school is open to a myriad of candidates. As a HTLA you will be required to uphold the following;

  • To comply with, support and promote all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to child protection, equal opportunities, racial equality, health, safety and security, confidentiality, behaviour and data protection.
  • You should have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning, demonstrating the ability to incorporate national trends and data sets into your approach.
  • As a HTLA to KS2 you should present yourself with the ability to work under pressure and attain the needs of any given pupil.
  • At the heart of everything you do as a HTLA, will be your passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel.

This is a good sized school which manages to maintain its community feel. Pupils and staff provide a warm welcome to all visitors and this is something that has been a consistent feature for some time. Pupil progression is good and remains a high priority. In the last year two existing staff members have been promoted to leadership roles and the ethos of internal development is one that the governors are keen to maintain for the future.
