Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive school environment? We are currently seeking a talented Humanities Teacher to join us on a long-term supply basis after the half-term break.

Role Overview:

As a Humanities Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across the Humanities curriculum, including History, Geography, and Religious Studies. You will have the opportunity to inspire and challenge students of all abilities, fostering a love for learning and encouraging critical thinking skills. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continued success of our Humanities department and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported
  • As a Humanities Teacher, you need to be able to assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback to promote growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young minds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
