Job description
Step Teachers have been asked to recruit a Humanities Teacher for a lovely secondary school in Southall. In the first instance the role of Humanities Teacher will be a long-term post commencing ASAP, however, the school make it clear that exceptional performance is likely to be rewarded with a permanent post.
As the ideal History Teacher:
- You should have a PGCE in Humanities with QTS
- Your schemes of work will be creative, varied and flexible enough to promote differentiation, and commitment to pupil progression will inform every aspect of your teaching practice.
- It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching Humanties to A Level
- You will need confidence and a positive ‘Can-do’ attitude & philosophy

A solid history of good Ofsted performance has allowed the SMT to develop a base of teaching staff who have been committed to the school and its development over several years.
