Job description

Humanities Teacher – Full-time, supply role starting as soon as possible

Duties as Humanities Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote student well-being

Ideal Humanities Teacher:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects in secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
  • Flexible, adaptable and confident in new environments
  • Committed to fostering a positive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
