​Step Teachers are looking for a Reception Teacher based in Welwyn Garden City starting in September 2022. This contract is initially for two full academic terms but there the possibility of this being extended to three.

The position is at a primary school in Welwyn Garden City with an OFSTED 'GOOD' rating. It is a two form entry school with extensive facilities including a variety of outdoor areas.

Role:

• Strong knowledge of the curriculum for early years/reception classes

• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources

• Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom

• Ability to monitor students' progress and support them throughout the year

• Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic classes

• Compliance with the schools’ policies and implement effectively 

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching early years/Key Stage 1
