An Ofsted rated school upholding ‘Outstanding’ status in Barnet are in need of an experienced Teaching Assistant to join them in April 2020. This role is a full-time, long-term opportunity until the end of the academic year working with a child with autism in a Year 1 class.
The successful candidate should display the following:
- Previous experience in KS1 or in a similar role within a mainstream school
- Previous experience with autism
- Patient demeanour
- Work using initiative to help with the child’s development
- Proficient spoken English is essential
