Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant team and inspire pupils to achieve their best during this important stage of their education. Beginning August 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Key Stage 2.

  • Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages children to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

  • Differentiate teaching and adapt resources to support pupils with varying abilities and needs.

  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing clear feedback and setting high expectations.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, trips, and events.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and safeguarding at all times.

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2.

  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills as a KS2 Teacher.

  • A positive, reflective approach and commitment to continuous professional development.

  • A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and succeed.
