Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire and motivate pupils during these vital years of their primary education. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages all pupils to achieve their best.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners.
Maintain excellent classroom management and promote positive behaviour.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and share good practice.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, clubs, and school events.
Uphold the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is desirable (ECTs are welcome to apply).
A good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, including preparation for SATs if applicable.
Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills as a KS2 Teacher.
A creative, caring, and resilient approach to teaching and learning.
