Job description
KS2 Teacher – Full-time, flexible supply roles starting as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working with a range of primary schools in and around Hackney, supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
Duties as KS2 Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school policies
- Support pupils’ learning, development, and well-being
- Manage behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency
- Provide feedback on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Flexibility and confidence to work in different schools and year groups
- Strong classroom management and communication skills as a KS2 Teacher
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff
