KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and caring Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team. This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in helping pupils succeed both academically and personally during this key stage of their education. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2, working with individuals, small groups, or the whole class

• Assist in the preparation of learning resources and the delivery of engaging lessons

• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher

• Support pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND

• Help with breaktime duties and contribute to school activities and events

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally KS2

• A caring, patient and flexible attitude

• Good communication and organisational skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

• The ability to work well as part of a team

• A commitment to safeguarding and child protection (training provided)
