Job description

Step Teachers is currently seeking enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistants to join our pool of daily supply staff, supporting schools in Brundall and the surrounding areas on the outskirts of Norwich.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant: 

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.

  • Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning across the curriculum.

  • Assist with classroom preparation, organisation and general administration.

  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to become confident, independent learners.

  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant: 

  • Experience working with children in a school setting.

  • A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

  • Ability to follow teacher guidance and use initiative when required.

  • A relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA) is advantageous but not essential.
