We have been asked to recruit an outstanding and experienced Lead Practitioner for Design Technology for our client in South East London who are seeking a Lead Practitioner for Design Technology to take on the position on a permanent basis.  This position is due to commence in September 2020.

• You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, who employs well-structured schemes of work to encourage pupils of all abilities to achieve fantastic results and build their skills base for life
• You will have a practical and innovative approach to your teaching, using every resource available to encourage your pupils
• Previous experience of curriculum development or subject leadership would be a definite advantage for the successful Lead Practitioner for Design Technology
• It is vital that you can demonstrate experience of planning and teaching all subjects in the Design Technology subjects including Food Technology

This is a school which serves a diverse and deprived area of South East London. Behaviour standards have been a key area of focus in recent times and the SMT are proud of the huge improvements which have been made in this area. Pupil progression has been steadily improving and the school recently celebrated their best ever GCSE results in the core subjects of English, Maths and Science. As the school moves on to the next step of its development plan, some staff have been promoted and there is now scope for growth in the majority of faculties.
