A popular school in Goffs Oak are urgently seeking to recruit an LSA 1:1 to work with a Year 4 pupil for the rest of the academic year. The pupil requires an LSA 1:1 as he is wheelchair-bound and has some additional moderate learning difficulties. The school have equipment to assist the pupil with movement, however the role of LSA 1:1 will involve some physical activity and limited personal care.

  • Experience of working 1:1 with an SEN pupil would be desireable, however we can consider candidates with transferrable skills
  • The role of LSA 1:1 is a full time position (term time only)
  • The ideal LSA 1:1 should have good communication skills as they will be working as part of team involving the pupil, parents and existing school staff

This school has an excellent academic record and a history of excellent statutory inspections. The Head Teacher has been in post for three years now and in that time the school has undergone many structural changes which have now had time to bed in, and the atmosphere amongst the staff is supportive and friendly. The PTA plays an active role in school life and is supportive of staff across the school.
