Job description
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start from October 2025 for a permanent role in a Secondary School in Reading. Class Act Teaching Services are Oxfordshire's leading teaching agency meaning we work with a number of school across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. This Learning Support Assistant role would involve working with a student who is visually impaired.
The hours for this Learning Support Assistant role is Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm
Learning Support Assistant Role:
- Able to provide 1 to 1 support
- Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school as well as external professionals
- Ability to support students and encourage their progression
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively
Learning Support Assistant Requirements:
- Recent experience working as a Learning Support Assistant
- A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
- Good knowledge and awareness of visual impairments
- Ability to work professionally and effectively in a team
