Job description

A popular and friendly school in Walthamstow have asked us to resource a Maths teacher for a long-term position to commence in January 2019. The position of Maths teacher will be working 4 days a week and is likely to become a permanent post for the right candidate.

The School seeks an individual that:

  • Is a confident and experienced practitioner holding QTS in Maths, but an exceptional NQT would also be considered.
  • It is very important that you have a sound understanding of good practice in Assessment for Learning, and have confidence in planning and delivering the new GCSE specifications.
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice in relation to learning and development.
  • The successful candidate will hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
