Job Description:

As a Maths Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite students' curiosity and unlock their potential in mathematics. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and inspire students' interest in the subject.
  • Utilize innovative teaching strategies and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • As a Maths Teacher, you must be able to provide personalized support and guidance to students to help them overcome challenges and achieve academic success in mathematics.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate mathematics into various subject areas.
  • Participate in school-wide events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities to contribute to the school's ongoing success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Mathematics.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at the KS3/KS4 level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks for mathematics.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for mathematics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
