Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking and supportive mathematics department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire a love of maths and help pupils achieve their full potential across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching available for the right candidate). Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
Support students of all abilities to achieve strong progress in mathematics
Prepare pupils for assessments and public examinations (e.g., GCSE)
Use a range of teaching strategies to promote mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills
Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of teaching resources
Maintain high standards of behaviour, motivation and classroom engagement
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
Experience teaching maths at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
A passion for teaching and a desire to make maths accessible and enjoyable for all learners
