Maths Teacher
Job description
Class Act is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a role in a Secondary in Didcot. We are looking for someone who can bring their passion for Maths into the school where they can support students and make an impact within the school. This Maths Teacher role is starts in September 2025 and the school are looking for someone on long term supply for at least 1 academic year.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Teach Maths curriculum across KS3 and 4
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that stretch and support all learners
Prepare students for GCSE examinations with a focus on high achievement and progress
Contribute to the wider life of the department, including extra-curricular clubs, trips, and events
Participate in curriculum development and whole-school literacy initiatives
Ideal Maths Teacher:
QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification
A Bachelor's degree in Maths or a closely related subject
- Recent experience as a Maths Teacher in a mainstream Secondary School
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for literature and writing
Excellent classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment as a Maths Teacher.
