Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Maths Teacher to join our secondary school team and inspire a love for mathematics in students. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons and make a real impact on pupils’ learning and achievement. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Maths Teacher:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons in line with the curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on student progress.
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
Contribute to departmental planning, resources, and extra-curricular activities.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning.
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics.
Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Maths Teacher.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
