Media Studies Teacher

A Secondary School in Bicester are looking for a Media Studies teacher to join their team from September 2025 for a permanent full time role. The Media Studies Teacher role is in a school whose ethos is to create a learning environment that sets students up to flourish both now and in the future. 

Media Studies Teacher Role:

• Deliver the Media Studies curriculum across all year groups
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that stretch and support all learners
• Prepare students for examinations with a focus on high achievement and progress
• Contribute to the wider life of the department, including extra-curricular clubs, trips, and events
• Participate in curriculum development and support the school the provide high quality education

Media Studies Teacher Requirements:

• QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• A degree in a subject related to Media Studies is desirable
• Recent experience in a mainstream school teaching Media Studies
• Strong subject knowledge and curricular knowledge
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment
• A team player committed to continuous professional development
