Music Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students through practical and theoretical music education across KS3 and KS4. Starting September 2025.
Duties as a Music Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons that develop students’ skills in performance, composition, and music theory
Encourage student participation in ensembles, choirs, and performances
Use a range of teaching methods and technologies to cater for different learning styles
Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to the development of the music curriculum and extracurricular music opportunities
Ideal Music Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Music or a related field
Proficiency in at least one musical instrument and experience with music technology
Strong communication and classroom management skills as a Music Teacher.
A passion for fostering creativity and a love of music in students
