Level 3 Nursery Assistant – Full-time, temporary ongoing cover from January 2026

This full-time Level 3 Nursery Assistant role begins in January 2026 and offers ongoing temporary cover in a warm and inclusive early years setting. Children are happy, safe, and enjoy their learning, supported by staff who have high expectations and provide a broad, engaging curriculum. Leaders are ambitious and ensure that children, including those with SEND, receive the support they need to thrive. The setting fosters a strong sense of community, where children behave well and are proud of their achievements.

Duties as Level 3 Nursery Assistant:

Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5
Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to individual learning plans
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to team planning
Maintain a clean and organised learning space
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers

Ideal Level 3 Nursery Assistant:

Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Experience working in an early years setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about supporting young children’s development
Able to work full-time on a temporary ongoing basis
