Nursery Teacher
Job description
We are looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join an early years team. You will play a vital role in supporting our youngest learners, helping them develop essential skills through creative, play-based learning in a safe and caring environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Nursery Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Create a warm, stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social development.
Observe and assess children’s progress, keeping accurate records and reporting to parents and carers.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to meet the individual needs of each child.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to support each child’s learning journey.
Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all children in your care.
Ideal Nursery Teacher:
Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, EYTS, or equivalent).
Experience working with children in an early years setting.
Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
Creative, patient, and caring approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teacher.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
