Nursery Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Teaching Assistant to join an early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children at a key stage in their development and help create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Support the nursery team in delivering age-appropriate, play-based learning activities

• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children

• Assist with observing and recording children’s development and progress

• Promote children’s personal, social and emotional wellbeing

• Support the development of communication, language and physical skills

• Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents

 Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or be working towards one)

• Have experience working with children in an early years setting

• Be caring, patient, and committed to supporting young learners

• Work effectively as part of a team and use initiative when required

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
