Part Time KS1 Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a friendly and committed team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners and contribute to a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.
Work effectively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents/carers.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, using formative and summative methods.
Contribute to a positive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, resilience and a love of learning.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a strong grasp of phonics and early literacy/numeracy.
Warm, nurturing and reflective approach to teaching.
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills as a KS1 Teacher.
Team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to the wider school community.
