Job description

We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for teaching KS5 Politics, who is innovative and committed to excellence and will enjoy working collaboratively to secure the best possible outcomes for the sixth form college we are working on behalf of.  
 
The college is based in the heart of Cambridge and is a friendly, dynamic school where they are proud of their community of aspirational students. They work in partnership with supportive parents/carers and external agencies to meet the academic, emotional and spiritual needs of all students.  The college is seeking an experienced politics teacher to take on a full teaching role from as soon as possible until at least Easter 2021.  There is scope for this to continue for the right applicant.
 
The successful candidate will: 
  • Be an outstanding practitioner, with the energy to inspire, motivate and challenge students and staff 
  • Hold QTS and a politics related degree
  • Believe in the right of every student to succeed
