Job description

Step Teachers are currently seeking to recruit a passionate PPA teacher in a KS2 class for an Ofsted rated school of ‘Outstanding’ in Enfield. This is a contract position of a part-time nature, working with the school’s Year 6 class. Then role is set to commence in February 2020 after half-term and will be a temporary position initially.

The school have asked for a PPA teacher that demonstrates the following attributes:

  • QTS qualification or PGCE certificate
  • Have advanced experience of working in KS2 in a mainstream primary school
  • Be a positive and driven teacher, supporting the educational development of all pupils
  • Effective communication skills with both pupils and staff alike
  • Ability to identify and work towards achieving key objectives

Working through our Guaranteed Pay Scheme (GPS), you will be available for work exclusively with Step Teachers Monday - Friday within the area of your local office. Relevant qualifications for your tier will be required. You will need to supply a Paid For Enhanced Child Workforce DBS that is on the Update Service. Alternatively, a DBS can be processed by Step Teachers upon receipt of a non-refundable payment of £55.
