Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Primary School Teacher for a long-term temporary role starting January 2026, covering Year 1 to Year 6.

Primary School Teacher – Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Year 1 to Year 6
  • Plan and assess learning in line with the national curriculum and school policies
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress
  • Monitor and report on student attainment, behaviour and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and enrichment activities
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to the wider school community

Primary School Teacher – Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching across Key Stages 1 and 2
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
  • Committed to promoting high standards and pupil achievement
  • Able to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Familiar with current safeguarding practices and procedures
  • Flexible, resilient and passionate about primary education as a Primary School Teacher.
