Primary Science Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Primary Science Teacher with a strong Science specialism to teach Key Stage 2, who is also comfortable delivering lessons at Key Stage 3 level.
Children arrive excited for a day of fun, greeted warmly by staff and quickly engaged in games and group activities. The camp offers a packed schedule of enjoyable experiences in a safe, well-supervised environment. Staff are attentive, positive role models who support children’s wellbeing and help them settle quickly and happily.
This position is for the Spring Term, starting January 2026.
Duties as a Primary Science Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and practical science lessons across KS2 and KS3.
Support pupils in developing curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific understanding.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and progression between KS2 and KS3 learning.
Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress in line with curriculum standards.
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning.
Ideal Primary Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience teaching Science, ideally across KS2 and KS3.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring young learners.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Primary Science Teacher.
