One of my long standing clients in Waltham Cross find themselves in need of a Primary Teacher to take a Year 2 class until July 2020. Although initially a contract position, it is very likely that the successful Primary Teacher will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent post with the school from September 2020.

Criteria for the role of Primary Teacher are:

• To  show demonstrable commitment to work in partnership with all school stakeholders
• Experience of teaching children with a variety of additional needs, as this role will involve some mainstream SEN teaching
• Robust and flexible classroom management strategies
• Experience and strong ability to manage Teaching Assistants and other adult support workers

This one form entry school has a good reputation within the local community going back many years. The cohort are from a range of backgrounds and have a diverse level of ability on entry, with the vast majority achieving expected progression or above.
