​Step Teachers have been asked to recruit a Religious Education Teacher for a middle school in Hertfordshire. In the first instance, the role of the Religious Education Teacher will be a full-time role until May but may go on longer. You will need to be able to offer Religious Education across years 5-8.

As a Religious Education Teacher you will:

• Have a Degree Level Qualification + secondary PGCE or QTS Qualification for R.E teaching

• Be a creative and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to use all available resources to their full extent

• Have an ability to organise, lead and manage a classroom effectively, including assigned support staff will be central to your role

• Have a passion for your subject and the desire to inspire and motivate pupils to excel

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
