A great opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a religious education teacher at a cross-denominational secondary school based in New Barnet.  The religious education teacher role is on offer through Step Teachers and the school are looking for the new member of staff to start in January 2020 on a permanent basis.

The religious education teacher at this school shall:

• Have a teaching qualification gained either recently or in the last few years
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Have an ability to identify, focus on and work towards achieving key objectives
• Have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning

As the religious education teacher you will be expected to promote and encourage these aspects.

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
