A great opportunity has arisen for us to recruit an outstanding religious education teacher at one of our partner schools based in Merton. The religious education teacher role is on offer through Step Teachers and the school are looking for the new member of staff to start in January on a permanent basis.
The religious education teacher at this Ofsted rated “outstanding” rated school shall:
- Have a teaching qualification gained either recently or in the last few years
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
- Have an ability to identify, focus on and work towards achieving key objectives
- Have a creative and thoughtful approach to curriculum planning
The RE department at this school is a vibrant, energetic and happy area of the school. They aim to motivate good learning and achievement through a wide range of teaching methods. The school is one of the top 7% of schools in RE nationally an as the school's new RE teacher you will be expected to help increase this percentage.
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
