A popular secondary school in the London Borough of Enfield are looking to appoint a qualified Religious Studies teacher. The post of this Religious Studies teacher will commence in April 2019 on a temp-to-perm contract.

• As a qualified Religious Studies teacher, you should be a creative and enthusiastic practitioner who is able to use all available resources to their full extent
• You should have a Degree Level Qualification + secondary PGCE or QTS Qualification for Religious Studies teaching
• You will need confidence and a positive ‘Can-do’ attitude & philosophy
• Your excellent classroom management strategies will be robust and flexible and will be seen as central to the performance of you and your pupils

The school is a larger than average 11- 18 comprehensive with over 1400 pupils on-roll. The school is located in an area that is generally advantaged and the percentage of students eligible for free school meals is lower than average. The students come from a wide range of backgrounds, reflecting the cultural diversity of the area served by the school.
