Religious Studies Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a team and inspire students to explore diverse beliefs, values, and cultures. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3/4 and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Religious Education Teacher:
Plan and deliver creative, thought-provoking RE lessons that encourage critical thinking.
Promote respect, understanding, and tolerance of different worldviews.
Prepare students for internal assessments and public examinations.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives, extra-curricular activities, and curriculum development.
Ideal Religious Education Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge of world religions, ethics, and philosophy as the Religious Education Teacher.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion.
