Step Teachers are looking for a full-time Science Teacher to start in September 2024 in an Academy in Norwich.
We are hiring a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our client school's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Science Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Scinece
- Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Science Teacher Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Science Teacher at secondary school level.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- A relevant Science related degree is desirable
