Step Teachers have been asked by an academy school based in Cambridgeshire, PE13,  to source a science teacher for the new coming term to start in September.  Although initially on a supply basis this position could become permanent to the right candidate.

The most recent Ofsted report placed the school as inadequate BUT pointed out that the academy is rapidly improving and the leaders and principal share a clear vision.  Over the last year new leaders have been introduced and policies and procedures put in place are beginning to have significant impact.

To join the school at this exciting, but challenging time, you should:

  • Be an experienced science teacher with at least two years recent teaching experience
  • Have thorough knowledge of the national curriculum for science and related assessment practice – this is essential
  • Have a proven ability to successfully manage learning development projects
  • Be confident and have a can do attitude an philosophy
