SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible

Duties as SEMH Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide targeted support for pupils with SEMH needs
  • Work effectively with male students and support emotional regulation
  • Use strong behaviour management strategies to maintain a calm learning environment
  • Assist with lesson activities and reinforce key learning objectives
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Support personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams
  • Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare
