Job description
Have you worked with visually impaired learners? These pupils are wonderful to work with and because of their visual impairments, they rely on the staff to be there for them and make a difference in their lives.
If you have experience of using ICT and be able to help the learners access the learning materials through a variety of supported methods. You will work alongside a range of skilled staff who will support and guide you and the learner to achieve the best for the outcome for the learner at all times.
You will be the main point of contact for the learners and you will be there for the journey and growth of the learners
I would welcome you to apply if you have previous experience of working with visually impaired learners or if you feel that you have intensive 121 experience previously gained in a similar environment.
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK. Step Teachers are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
