Job description

Do you have experience of supporting a challenging behaviour male student?

Have you experience of developing an understanding of the requirements needed to help a challenging young boy in a 121 setting

I am currently recruiting for a role in Croydon where a young male pupil now has been given a place within a SEND school within Croydon. The school is looking for a strong role model who can cope with boundaries being tested and challenged and who can de-escalate the child from crisis point without the need for intervention. The child will require clear communication and instructions set out for the day, you will be expected to ensure the learning objectives are met for the pupil. You will have everything set out by the teacher and it will be your repsonsibility to cascade learning issues back to the teacher so an effective strategy can be put in place to ensure the child is learning.

You will ideally come from a background where you have worked with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity, email me a copy of your updated cv to SeymaB@stepteachers.co.uk

We offer a great rate of pay and if you are looking for the next challenge within a very supportive setting then I would like to hear from you.

Please apply and I will call you to have a brief and discreet conversation

Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK. Step Teachers are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

Unlike other agencies, Step Teachers are more than happy to process your pay via PAYE – you will not be forced to go with an Umbrella Company.
