The school wants to recruit someone who is willing to work with a student on a one to one basis and has a wealth of experience behind them.

About the Primary Teaching Assistant Role

This Primary Teaching Assistant role is based in a fantastic and eager Reception class. This is a full-time role on a short-term contract that may turn to a long term role, subject to performance. You will be responsible for coordinating educational activities with the class teacher and working one to one with a child that is undiagnosed but has S&L issues and the school believe that he may have ASD. This is an active role that will expect you to be on your feet. You need to have a strong grasp of the KS1 curriculum, and be able to translate that on to the students.

They are at the heart of the community, preparing children for their future lives as successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens.
